Sustainability
Our Responsibility to a Greener Planet
At GODIVA, we believe indulgence should never come at the expense of the earth. From responsibly sourced ingredients to more sustainable packaging and practices, we are dedicated to reducing our impact and protecting the beauty of the planet we all share.
Our Vision
"At GODIVA, we are committed to building a sustainable and thriving cocoa industry — one where farmers prosper, communities are empowered, human rights are protected, and the environment is safeguarded for future generations.
We pursue this vision through a deep understanding of our supply chain and a transformational approach that spans every step — from the farm to the moment of indulgence in your hands "

Our Partners
As a leader in premium chocolate, GODIVA recognizes our responsibility to help shape a better future for cocoa. Together with our partners, we are driving meaningful change — championing responsible practices that support farmers, strengthen communities, and uphold our mission for a more sustainable industry

World Cocoa Foundation
GODIVA has been a partner to the World Cocoa Foundation for years, with our membership now managed via pladis. WCF is a leading industry nonprofit dedicated to sustainable cocoa and better livelihoods for cocoa-growing communities.

Soubré, Côte d'Ivoire
For half a decade, we've been proud to support an Earthworm project on farmer resilience in the Soubré region of Côte d'Ivoire. This project — managed through pladis — has seen efforts to map the landscape, improve income for women through village-run banks, and pilots encouraging the adoption of agroforestry.

Earthworm Foundation
We first announced our partnership with Earthworm Foundation in July 2020, a nonprofit partner helping chocolate manufacturers and traders build more sustainable value chains, as well as creating on-the-round programs for farming communities.
Our Partners
Earthworm Foundation
Earthworm is a global non-profit that strives to positively impact the relationship between companies, like GODIVA, and nature. A part of our transformational approach is done through Earthworm Foundation’s Soubré Landscape program, which has reached over 1300 farmers with programs to strengthen resiliency. This work includes training in Good Agricultural Practices, farm management and agroforestry, establishing village savings and loan associations, and supporting reforestation in the Mount Kourabahi Forest reserve.

Our Suppliers
Cocoa Horizons
Chocolate used in our production is Cocoa Horizons certified – an industry leading supplier sustainability program focused on cocoa farmer prosperity and helping build self-sustaining farming communities that protect nature and children, with GODIVA chocolate procured at a premium to support these programs.
