OUR VISION
GODIVA is dedicated to our vision for a sustainable and thriving cocoa industry where farmers prosper, communities are empowered, human rights are respected, and the environment is conserved. We can achieve this through both a holistic understanding of our supply chain and undertaking a transformational approach from the farm level to your shopping basket. ‌The following is an overview of where we are on our sustainability journey.
As a company committed to producing premium chocolate, GODIVA understands that we have an important role in driving change across the entire cocoa industry. We are making progress by working with our partners to implement responsible practices that support our mission. In partnership with the World Cocoa Foundation (WCF) and the Cocoa & Forests Initiative (CFI), GODIVA published our Responsible Cocoa Commitment in 2020. This commitment included our 3 pillars: Environmental Protection & Regeneration | Human Rights & Responsiblity | Transparency & Collaboration.

LEARN MORE
A part of our transformational approach is done through Earthworm Foundation’s Soubré Landscape program, which has reached over 1300 farmers with programs to strengthen resiliency. This work includes training in Good Agricultural Practices, farm management and agroforestry, establishing village savings and loan associations, and supporting reforestation in the Mount Kourabahi Forest reserve.

TOGETHER BEYOND COCOA
GODIVA has two main suppliers for the cocoa used in our signature couverture and chocolate recipes – Onem and Barry Callebaut. In partnership with the former, we have established the GODIVA & Onem

Together Beyond Cocoa Program, which continues to help us deliver on our commitments to protecting people and planet in cocoa growing communities.
