Happy Valentine’s Day!

Since GODIVA’s inception in 1926, we’ve been helping people around the world express and celebrate their love with our delicious, Belgian chocolate. When people think of love, they think of GODIVA.

Another way that we spread love and joy is through our unwavering and longstanding commitment to being a socially responsible business. Every day, we enrich the lives of our customers, our people, and cocoa growing communities while supporting sustainable farming methods that also enrich the planet.

We do this through partnerships with nonprofit organizations like Save the Children. Together, we care for the children of cocoa farming communities in Cote d’Ivoire by advocating for equitable health services, public health education, and the purchase of critical care items like delivery tables, solar lamps, and cribs.

We are also members of the Cocoa Horizons Foundation and collaborate with them to elevate the quality of life for cocoa farmers through the promotion of sustainable, entrepreneurial farming, improved productivity, community development, health & welfare, and education.

Through Godiva Gives, our employee volunteer program, our people give their time, talent, and hearts to the communities where we live and work. By volunteering with nonprofit organizations, our people are making a real difference in the lives of others. I am perpetually moved by their dedication to creating joy in this way and their passion for giving back.

To learn more about how we’re spreading love by doing good, visit the Godiva Cares section of our website. There, you can learn more about our other initiatives, like our commitment to sustainably source 100% of our cocoa by 2020, the legacy of our Lady Godiva program, and how we’re combating deforestation and forest degradation.

I wish you all a joyful Valentine’s Day filled with love and, of course, Godiva chocolate!

Regards,
