2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup butter – softened
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ teaspoon peppermint extract
2 large eggs
12 ounces (3 bars) GODIVA Large Dark Chocolate Peppermint Crunch Bars, chopped to pea size
1. PREHEAT oven to 375° F.
2. In a small bowl, stir the flour, baking soda, and salt until combined.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine butter, white sugar, and brown sugar and beat using a mixer on medium speed 8 to 10 minutes until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time; mix well and scrape bowl after each addition. Add the vanilla and peppermint extracts. Gradually beat in flour mixture.
4. Add the chopped GODIVA Large Dark Chocolate Peppermint Crunch Bars and stir with spatula until uniformly blended.
5. Grease jelly roll pan and spread batter evenly into pan. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from oven, cool in pan on wire rack, and cut into pieces.
